Today is a time of authentic gratitude. I am feeling gratitude in my heart towards everything today including myself. This was an eye opener to me. I learned in a meditation last week that though many of us are grateful for people, things, and situations in our life we do not take the time to choose gratitude of the self. To actually say to yourself, "I am grateful for who you are and I appreciate you." When you do this - your life perspective changes incredibly.
When I was in Moab, Utah, and I was meditating near one of the rock spires, a little blue bird appeared out of nowhere and started singing to me. I want to thank the little blue bird for the magic in the music the showed me the flow of life.

I arrived safely in San Francisco and have spent a couple of days exploring Santa Cruz and Carmel.
